Where's all the Neymar backlash come from? Suarez dived every game he played for you, didn't hear much about it, all of a sudden it's the worst thing on the planet? Doesn't help that your manager lost it after the game and stormed out his press conference.

Who on here said Suarez didn't dive, I think you will find many on here who didn't agree with that aspect of Suarez.

Neymar is another level though, the refs in the premier league would not give half the fowls that he gets.

Suarez dived as much as any other player on occasion, it really wasn’t that big a part of his game, the guy was very strong and could shrug off anybody. On the occasions he did dive, and the other occasions when he embarrassed himself, you’d find the majority of liverpool fans being unhappy at it. He’s been gone for years and yet fans of other clubs are still using him as a stick to beat liverpool with, pretty embarrassing really.

As for Neymar, the guy has all the talent in the world and yet chooses to focus his entire game around drawing ‘fouls’. He could fulfil his potential if only he actually focused on playing the game instead of rolling around, something you couldn’t ever criticise suarez for, he always got stuck in.

I commented on Neymar but it never got posted, first time that has happened.
Neymars' talent is being overshadowed by his antics. We will all look back on Messi and Ronaldo being amazing players.
At this rate Neymar will only be remembered as a selfish diver. A shame really as it was thought he was the next big star.

What about Diego Costas antics and play acting all the time especially in his first season.
Pantomime comes to mind - speaking of which do you have his number, it is that time of year, maybe we can book him in for a role as the ugly sister in the hart of the Kings Road - that would be somewhere in Kent or Surrey.

Saurez was the best striker I have probably ever seen.
In the firat 3 months he may have dived a number of times but after that it was rare and usually did not go in his favour.

{Ed025's Note - his diving antic,s did abate a little RK but then the dirty little scum bag decided that biting players was the best way to become the biggest cheat ever, he was an absolute disgrace who dragged the name of liverpool through the mud and as much as i hate diving biting is 100 times worse mate, as for being the best striker you have seen...you must be very young not to have seen players like shearer, henry etc..

ED25 - very true and I think every genuine fan hates the fact he just did not get on with it and resorted to antics.

I disagree with you on shearer, I thought he was well and truely overrated.
Andy Cole was far far better than him. Coles first rouch and control were exceptional.
Thechnical ability wise, again, better than Shearer.

Henry was good but sorry to say no where near Suarez in my opinion.
Henry had pace to burn for fun and that was his distinct advantage.

Suarez control, awareness of the goal and team mates as well as his vision was amazing.

The issue is with Suarez that all the other antics detreacted people away from actually assessing him on ability and talent.
Also by going to Barcelona he ends up in Messi shasow - even then hia states and goal ratea for Barcelona is unbelievable consider the whole Barcelona team is aet up around Messi.

{Ed025's Note - i cant buy any of that RK, andy cole was very good dont get me wrong, but he played alongside some of the best players in premiership history and for the most successful team, shearer on the other hand played for southampton, blackburn and newcastle...who at best were all mediocre yet still scored 73 goals more than andy, rooney scored more than him as well. suarez has great ability yet will never go down as a great because he is a pathetic excuse for a human being mate..

Agree with Ed25 you can’t compare Shearer and Cole, Shearer was much better and Suarez better than Henry do me a favour.

We knew what they would be like, they do it every week and did it in the first leg, Neymar diving wasn’t the cause of our poor performance, it’s just become a conversation point for some to detract from the poor performance.
