Until Kieta and Fabinho justify their right to play in our midfield I think our midfield is really missing Hendo. I always believe it wasn't Gerard's slip that cost us the league it was Hendos three match ban. Sadly I hoped that Sturridge could play a real part for us, but I was disappointed in his and Lalanas performances. There where mistakes elsewhere but what I have mentioned were my biggest problems.

Evered I think you are spot on, I said the same as we watched. The truth is when Hendo is fit he is an integral part of our successful midfield. I know some people won’t agree but for me that’s the truth. And you are right about why we lost the league, it was plain to see from the moment he got that card. Let’s hope he’s back sooner rather than later.

It wasn’t Gerrard slip or the hendo ban that specifically cost us that title. They were factors that with other results over a 38 GAME LEAGUE cost us.

As I see it, Henderson could do nothing of note all game but his presence makes the team perform better, he has abilities I’m not denying that or suggesting he doesn’t use them but his presence alone seems to make the rest perform.

We could have drawn with Chelsea then beat Palace and Newcastle and the league was ours with 87. Until Demba Ba scored the league was ours to decide. No need to worry about that now of course, and I agree we do miss Henderson.

Funnily enough our record points total in a prem season is 86, but even when we beat that this year it won't be enough to win.

Hendo dictates the pace that we play, Millie and Gini are high energy players but don't set the same tempo and drag the rest of the team with them the same way that Henderson does. I think he creates the spark that has been sorely missing recently and personally I think the sooner he's back the better.

Not sure that two specific events can cost you the title BUT I will agree that Hendo has been sorely missed and I have been saying it for the past week. Those who slate him will never admit it and that is fine but those of us who pay attention, know how important he is to our success. 'hope he comes back soon cos we need him, as much as we need Keita and Fab to bed in swiftly.

Hendo gives the team a spark when he dishes out some beastings when they mess up. Love seeing Hendo having a good scream at someone.
