I really like our team but I'm wondering if we need a true #10. I'm not sure just wondering what others think.

It was a fair result. Not too pleased with our performance though. I understand what Ed01 means by Wijnaldum hiding now. Don't think I saw him all game. Bobby also was disappointing. Alisson was betrayed by his defence for the goal.
Still unbeaten though and plenty more games to come.

I’ll disagree with Ed025. On the performance, maybe. On the chances we created, should have won by a margin. Mane’s wrongly ruled offside, VVD’s 3 big chances, and that’s not including Salah’s nearly playing someone in on 2 counts. Still a point gained, but should have won.

I agree ed0333. I don’t necessarily think it was a fair result. That goal from mane should have counted. Having said that we are still unbeaten in the league and I truly believe that we can win the league.

As good as our front 3 can be sadly sometimes they are isolated with a lack of attacking support. We can’t always just attack in a 3. City attack in fives and sixes. Our midfield are good at nice little passes to each other and the defence but they need to start chipping in with goals and assists. Coutinho used to offer us double figures there.

I think arsenal just slightly edged that game tonight on overall play. Getting 3 points would have been robbery even if we did have the better of the chances.

Van dijk had a stormer. So did mustafi though.

Disapointing to lose a lead but i feel it would have papered over a few cracks in the midfield department were we were very poor tonight. don't think those 3 work well together at all. Needed a runner and ball carrier in there to create space in other areas. Was all a bit too predictable.

Bobby is having to drop way too deep this season. Hopefully keita can get up and going again soon.

Shiqiri should have been brought on around the 60 imo. I think it would have made the arsenal defence a bit less organised.

Still undefeated though. Keeps the momentum going.

Onwards and upwards.

Fully agree. We snatched a draw from the jaws of victory. Nobody should be happy with 2 points dropped. If ManC win tomorrow, the pressure on us will notch up one step.

Unpopular opinion, maybe. But if we'd Henderson on the bench, this is one of those games he would've come in, with us being 1-0 up and just killed the opposition's flow.
We'd more chances to win it, Arsenal just had possession. A point apiece isn't exactly fair. But it's something to build on.

For me personally im not going to sit here and say we dropped two points we never ever looked in control and a point for me is a fair result
didnt think trent or bobby had their best games but when you don't play well and can't win then at least draw that is the sign of a team progressing along nicely
Bring on fulham and Naby to grab his first goal for us alongside Fabinho.

{Ed025's Note - cheers stone, i like the liverpool guys and its all a bit of fun and a lot of banter mate which its all about, i can go back to the days when derby,s were like that and we walked and drank together before and after the games, ahh halcyon days indeed, alas its not like that anymore its been replaced by twisted knob heads of both teams who would rather fight than have a good time, their loss in my view but on this site it seems to be fine, lets hope we can be the example for future generations who care about this city its great history and its great teams...i will get of my soap box now mate before i start crying..

Probably right Ed but do feel a tad agreaved by the disallowed goal, I saw that it was OK on the TV and quite clearly at that, linesman should not have got that one wrong. Don't get me wrong may have had the same result in the end, but that really did erk me. Thought the ref in particular was very poor tonight actually, not sour grapes either, had we won 10 nil I'd have said the same about the ref.

{Ed025's Note - hopefully these things even themselves out during the season istanbul, but in the end its a very good point against a good arsenal side even though you were not at your best remain undefeated and at the top of the tree mate...for a good few hours at least..

Fair result but I think they will be more disappointed with the result.
Salah is just not at the races. He’s lost pace, he’s lost confidence and he’s lost the ability to play a simple pass. Beyond that he’s not attacking the ball, he’s waiting for it.
Trent was bloomin awful today. Gave the ball away, stood with his arm in the air whilst Lacazette practised his dribbling before scoring, constantly leaving space behind him.

That lad needs some time on the bench.
Firmino is struggling too, I forgot he was playing today.

Positives today - Robbo (outstanding), Van Dijk (colossal), Milner (consistent and reliable)
