I see yesterday it was said about Ramsey will definitely leave Arsenal now as an agreement over contract could not be reached. I for one hope he arrives and I think he could be a good addition. Ed002 has explained our interest and we could offer the best financial package so it could well happen. Thoughts anyone?

I am not in same page with you considering the input Ed001 has given. It's better we stay away from him.

Would be very happy if he came to be honest definitely upgrade on Adam L and if milner does not stay for another season would be a welcome addition along with the return of ox.

We have plenty mifielders. some who can't get a game at the moment, and ox is still to come back from injury to add to that. don't see where he would fit in or why we would add another.

The only reason lallana is here is because of the injury to Ox. Once he comes back it will be a very tough scrap for places. I honestly don’t see what Ramsey will bring that other players don’t. I’d rather see us give Woodburn or Jones a chance, that's what reserves are for right?

The simple answer to that question AW is goals.
Ramsey definitely carries a goal threat and is capable of reaching double figures, something our midfield desperately needs?

Look at the state of city’s bench.
Ramsey is a no brainer if he is happy to rotate as our current cm positions do.

When all fit we have ox, Keita, fab, hendo fighting for 2 Cm slots and many talk about Trent moving there eventually. Plus he’s cock with a poor attitude and injury record.

Not needed or a shrewd buy for me.

I see all this talk of our midfield lacking goals but surely Keita can bring that once he’s settled in? Plus ox and Shaq when played in the hole? People are talking about last years problems.

Now Sly sports are saying we have zero interest in Ramsey! they know nothing. I trust in ed.

{Ed002's Note - There has been interest but it does not mean it will be followed up in the summer.}

Cheers ed. I know what your saying and interest doesn't always meanba bid will happen. However I hope it does.

If thing are not going well for Coutinho and Barcelona want to sell him i hope we get him he is the only one we need right now. He can play Mane role in attack and can play in middlefield.

{Ed002's Note - it is not going well but I would not hold your breath about a return to Liverpool.}

Interesting, why isn't it going well? I thought he was doing all right at Barca. Wouldn't want him back though as it's rare for these things to work out and I'm not sure that he would fit in to the current system. On another note, Ed002, what do you think has happened to Sanchez? He is the player that I was desperate for us to have signed after Suarez left. Is he finished or is it just that he doesn't fit in with Mourinho?

{Ed002's Note - Coutinho is not playing as well as they had hoped and with many changes happening there is a chance they could look to move him on. Again it is not working out for Sanchez at MU, expectations are vast given the financial deal and he is not delivering - he is being offered around.}

Ed01 has said we should stay away from Ramsey and I fully agree. Also, We already have Naby, and Wiji (who are better footballers, really) who IMO, are better than Ramsey. Naby, esp. if he can reproduce his RBL performances, is light years better than Ramsey so NOPE, no Ramsey for me. Ramsey is stale, won't improve us and if Lallana were to leave, there are much better mid's out there we can bring in to fill his spot than Ramsey.

Thanks for the response but astonished if this is the case, as he is only twenty-six and seems to be doing pretty well. What exactly were they expecting and whom do they want to replace him with? In terms of Sanchez, I'm not sure what to make of the situation. He was a magnificent player previously but then so was Torres, when he moved to Chelsea, the best player that I had seen in years. I guess that it goes to show how transfers can be a lottery sometimes. I think that Ed001 stated that Firminho told Coutinho that he was mad to leave Liverpool and maybe he was right, given what you were saying. Do you have any insight into what has gone wrong with either player?

{Ed002's Note - Coutinho has not been consistent - you pay a lot for a player and expectations are high. I don’t think there is anything to analyse.}

Thanks Ed002! Its a shame i really loved his way of play. Can i ask you where do you see him being offered?

{Ed002's Note - Sanchez has been offered to a number of sides already as I understand matters - the push has been for Bayern and PSG but it is PSG the efforts will concentrate on.}

As for the Ramsay rumours, we currently have a young talented Welsh midfielder out on loan. Playing as part of Lampard's midfield 3 as he did against Middlesbrough and excelling by all accounts. I'd much rather Wilson takes Lallana's spot than drop £100k+ a week and a big signing bonus on Ramsay who'd have no clear position in the team and is still wildly inconsistent for his age.

Spot on, Worminator90. Ramsey is a non-starter for me and would not improve us one bit, IMO.

Ups i wanted to know about Coutinho hehe. Thanks for the answer Ed002!

{Ed002's Note - As I said "there is a chance" he could be moved on but they will not want to be showing a loss on the transaction. Obviously if he were to be sold some payments would not need to be made to Liverpool and that would further reduce his book value. But Barcelona would much prefer that he starts playing consistently as their focus is on changing other aspects of the team.}

'Hope Cou start playing better for them cos they would look utterly stupid if he does not improve and they sell him at a loss.
