So I see the what about so and so from posts coming in again. Could we use another player or two to bolster the team? Most likely but who leaves to allow them a seat on the bench? Our bench has been excellent this year in fairness and it's grest to see Danny back making an impact. We all knew Shaqiri had the potential it was a matter of application. So far I think it's fair to say he has shown he has it, plenty of it. Fabinho being allowed to settle is looking like a great move. He had a great game Wednesday. As ed25 notes the opposition wasn't a test but nonetheless he grew into the game. Lastly rotating Hendo, Gini, Milner and Keita is proving to be a great treat. Sorry to say Llanna seems to have lost a step so maybe he can make room for someone, like Ox. My point after this long spout is let's see how we get on the next 2 months. Let's give our youth a chance. Let's not worry about others and how might they fit. Enjoy the weekend guys.

I'd like to see a chance for some younger players personally. I think Milner is great, but he's 32 now. He's prob got another season or two but if we could prepare a younger player ready to step in. Other than that Lallana, seems to be similar scenario to Ings. He needs plenty of games and I can't see him getting that at Liverpool.

Hmm, always seems to be the case that we need 1 or 2 players to complete the squad and make us contenders.
I can’t see any weaknesses in our first team though and the immediate back ups are performing quite alright as well, so don’t see the need to add anyone in the immediate future, don’t think I’ve ever been able to say we have a complete squad for my entire adult life.

I think priorities should be a permanent RB to allow Gomez a permanent CB role and Trent a chance to prove his worth in the centre. Secondly a creative attacking midfielder, this could happen by allowing Shaqiri the role, or promoting Wilson upon his return. Hendo, Milner and Gini and Fab all have ability and work ethic but are not quite that David Silva/ Coutinho I think the team is currently missing. A back up for Robinson as Moreno clearly isn’t it. Maybe young Lewis. Hope to see Brewster play some games when he’s fit rather than Origi or Solanke also. l and Studge as great as he’s been recently is getting no younger.

I worry that if we were to buy a RB then Trent won’t get a look in in midfield, we are well stocked there and they are all at this time ahead of Trent in the midfielders role. Keep Trent at RB with Gomez and Fabinho as back up and he will get the experience he needs to make it with us.

Spot on, Westwood. We need cover for both FB positions and we can do that by promoting from within or go out in Jan BUT I doubt if you will get a guy to come in and be second fiddle in Jan. That makes no sense. I trust Klopp to do what is right in this instance. Apart from FB cover, we are good to go, IMO.

Do not try to fix that which is not broken. It's going okay and the points tally is excellent. Unless injuries require it, I am not for putting any youngster into Milner's place. If we lose points than most will say "what do you expect from a youngster, he needs game time and experience". The reality is that we will have lost points and they will not be regained when Milner is put back in the team.

The only position I can think of is lb. I don't trust moreno and can you imagine robbo getting injured with 5 games left and us at the top of the league. Also if sturridge gets injured then we may be a bit light up top. We do have solanke and brewster though and I'd like to see them given a shot.

I think we may sign another cm in the summer. Hendo will be knocking on 29/30, milner 33 and lallana 31.

Gomez has shown in the past that he is a capable lb when required. Id personally go with trent loven virgil gomez if available rather than Moreno at lb. I don't see Moreno being there next year so I think its better to use the players that will be.
