Van Dijk now has a minor injury and been sent back to Liverpool
good to see that our squad is more then capable of covering now with lovren back and if Salah does not make the next game the Shaqiri can jump in.
I do worry badly though if Robertson gets injured but hey ho let's hope he does not.

Another reason why I hate international friendlies but we'll be fine, I'm sure it's nothing too bad, well I hope so anyway.

I completely agree with you regarding Robbo, that'd be a worry.

It’s another pretend injury like the one to salah to get them home from the friendly games. Like with hendo getting booked to be suspended for the Spain game. So we now have salah, hendo, Virgil rested for the Huddersfield game hopefully a fair few of the others will be rested in their second international game too.

There was no need to play VVD.

It’s not a pretend injury and it’s not a new injury, it’s the same rib injury he had before. There was no reason why he shouldn’t have played against Germany, he’d had a weeks rest after the City game and he’ll now get a weeks rest before the Huddersfield game. You can’t wrap footballers in cotton wool, injures happen even in training.

Salah's is the pretend one.

Spot on, Kramer. VVD's injury is news to nobody if you are paying attention really. I don't believe Hendo got himself booked on purpose cos that's not who he is, IMO. As for Salah, he did tweak his groin late last season b4 the City game in the CL away tie so maybe that flared up again. As for injuries, the solution is simple. If you don't want to get injured in a game, training sessions, a kick-about with the lads then don't become a footballer. Problem solved.
