After the Southampton game, I posted in here and got criticized for saying that if I could find 1 fault, it was that we didn't go for another goal, mainly in the second half, where we couldn't get into good positions in their box. I felt a few shots from outside the box would have helped us maybe get the 4th goal.
There was hardly much space for us to get into good positions in the Chelsea box. Our goal came from a world class strike from outside the box. Salah did take a shot from distances as well.
I still feel we need to take a few shots from outside the box, instead of always trying to work the ball into the net. We are going to come up against sides with good defense who will hold a good line, but, with long shots as a threat, it will give us space as they will be looking out for that as well.

Andy, I agree with you that we have to be a bit unpredictable in our approach. That said, I disagree that we could not get into good positions cos if that was the case, how did Salah have the three chances he had in the box off of the intricate play that led to them? How did Mane get the chance he got in the box after good work from Bobbie in the box? Two shots cleared off the line from shots taken inside the box? You can argue that we did not do enough to be more efficient up top BUT to say that we could not get into good positions, is untrue cos the stats I listed prove you wrong. As for us needing a worldie to get a point after creating more clear chances than they did well, that is football for you. It is NOT an exact science.
