I know it was just bad rumours going round before, but does anyone have any thoughts on Rabiot now we've seen him a bit closer up?

He played quite well, used the ball nicely on the few ocassions when psg managed a spell of posession. Clearly right now Hendo, Milner, and Gini have responded to the new competition in midfield so we have 5 capable cms. However he Rabiot would be a good addition for the long term.

I'd say 6 capable cms. Lallana isn't finished yet.

I didn't even know we were interested in rabiot? He is a good player but better than our boys? I don't think so.

Has Adam lallana made any match day squads yet this season? For one who showed so much promise it's sad yo look at his career today. Dropped from the England squad and dropped from the Liverpool squad.

I was at the game and I have to say if people think Hendo just passes sideways then watch Rabiot he takes passing sideways to a whole new level.

Well, he wasn't in the world Cup, despite playing in the champions league final. And he looked fit enough on pre season. Maybe not totally match sharp but he was all over the pitch.

He may have been injured for the reserves since, I don't know.

I don’t know anything about that mate. I just thought he was tidy but didn’t effect the game as he just went sideways and backwards every time he got the ball. That might be more about our press suffocating him but I just said it as I saw it.
