Cheers Ed. Loving the unrest at United. They really have no clue who to be mad at, it seems. Some fans think Mourinho has lost it, some think Woodward is to blame for everything because he doesn't have 'enough' experience and some are just well, Mancs. Ok, a couple more signings would have been useful, but if Mourinho was making more use of the players he wanted in the first place and that Woodward actually signed for him, then they might be inclined to splash out for more, rather than spending millions on duff investments. Maybe Woodward et al, just thought that 70 odd million was too much for Slab Head - which when you have a nickname like that, it probably is.

{Ed001's Note - the fact that a carthorse like Slab Head is his targets should tell you that Jose is not the right man for the job. The fact that Woodward didn't sack him the moment he suggested the carthorse tells you that he is not the man for the job either.}

I believe Gerrard said that because Hodgson probably let him do what he wanted around the club for the short while he was there
but anyone with common sense can see Houllier and Benitez contributed
a lot to his development and carried on the good work the youth team coaches began.

Ed1, what's your take on the Danish issues? Could the Danish players affected not just say they wish to play anyway? Or is representing your country second to money these days?

I understand they're probably worried about getting battered by God's country but if all their best players are missing it could be embarrassing (Hennessey may even keep a clean sheet) .

The Danish FA wants to use their images in all sorts of advertising, similar to the way the EFA did with Salah, which they cannot agree to without being in breach of their personal contracts with sponsors.}

Nothing but a South London con man in my opinion. In all the years I’ve been at Anfield, I’ve never seen the stadium so empty on match day when he was in charge. From where I sit, you could see blocks and blocks of empty seats in the Anfield road end, those usually kept for general sale, also the centenary stand.

Stevie might have thought he was a decent coach but the football was terrible. I think most England fans would say the same after watching the shambolic performances in Euro 2016.
