I was surprised when I saw the way Wolves chose to set up. They were willing to have a go at Man City, instead of sitting back and hoping for a draw. That's the way to take points of City, instead of sitting back.
Something I haven't really paid attention to, but Ed01 and MKS pointed out last season is how much City players foul opponents to stop their counter-attacks. Don't know whether to be impressed or annoyed, especially since they rarely get carded for it.

{Ed001's Note - if the refs would crack down on it, the way Pep always expects the refs to crack down on it when it is the other way round, they would concede many more goals.}

They do foul a lot when teams try to break on them but I would point out that Milner and Bobby do it very effectively for us as well.

Agree stoneage they were unlucky with the goal decision but deserved a few more yellows for repeating the same fouls all game.

{Ed001's Note - I can't believe anyone would claim Citeh were unlucky! They had multiple calls go their way. Kompany should have been off in the first 15 minutes and got away with a lot more after he finally did pick up a booking. That was not unlucky, that was the result of them being unable to cope with Wolves' attack and allowing them to get at Mendy, who is absolutely hopeless at defending.}
