Thanks for review ed think Pellegrini has a point about the fans leaving early a real bug bare of mine along with the fans that are constantly take pictures arrggghhh. Have good day mate
Up the pool.

{Ed001's Note - me too, but I understand why the Hammers' fans have given up as they bought badly, got a crap manager and they have been completely outplayed in both matches. Having said that, I would never leave early myself, I just don't get it.}

Welcome back Salah!
Also, I take it you’re not a fan of rodwell ed? 🧐.

{Ed001's Note - does it show? I thought I hid it well with my overly kind appraisal of the bum's 'efforts'.}

Thanks Ed. Didn't realise Bony was out with CL injury. He'll make Swansea stronger for sure on his return.

Good to see our man Salah back. Welcome home son.

{Ed001's Note - he got injured almost immediately after rejoining them, poor bugger.}

Morning ed. Please don't take this the wrong way, but there doesn't seem to be an awful lot of managers that you are particularly keen on, in general. I have seen you dig out Pellegrini, Howe, Dyche, Allardyce, Colin W, Martinez (I think) and others at various times. Rather what I'm trying to say is, there aren't many I've seen you praise. Granted, this is the Liverpool site so I may well have missed it on others. So that being said, which ones in the Premier League do you like? And if you don't rate Pellegrini, who would you have gone for instead? He seems about right for West Ham to me. Though, I'd like teams to start looking at managers from the Championship, instead of waiting for them to get promoted before they join the in crowd. Any thoughts, ed?

{Ed001's Note - I like Dyche up to a point, his teams are limited but what choice does he have? I would like to see him build a more expansive style over time, but it is still early doors in his career.

No manager is perfect, I am not here to fawn over them, lots of people are already doing that over the likes of Poch and Pep. They are all human and all produce teams with major weaknesses that can be exploited.

West Ham need a manager who is good at man management and will get the players to play for him. They should have gone for Bielsa. Yes he is mad, but he would ripped up that team and got rid of the slugs in midfield and put together an energetic, exciting young team utilising their very good youth team. Pellegrini hasn't got a clue how to develop youth players.}

Fair enough, cheers ed. I'm not criticising at all. I don't think you are unfair, just a harsher critic than we are used to seeing on TV and radio. It's nice to get a different perspective to the gushing these guys get just because their teams aren't terrible.

I agree about Dyche, I would like to see him get a larger budget at a team where he has to push himself more. From the outside, it definitely seems like he can do no wrong at Burnley, even if they get relegated they'll be financially stable and he won't lose his job. Nice to have that lack of pressure so you don't make rash decisions, I guess.

As for Pellegrini, that's fair enough. Some managers buy their teams, some develop them. Its alright at a top club, I suppose. I don't think the West Ham fans would have accepted a low spend summer though. Was Bielsa not a bit unexpected at Leeds though? I mean did his agent even let many teams know he was available?

{Ed001's Note - with regards to Dyche, they are financially stable because of him to be fair to him as well. When he first came in they had to sell players just to stave off bankruptcy and yet he managed to win promotion to the Prem anyway. He has worked a minor miracle and deserves to be given as long as he needs there.

Pellegrini can't organise a team either, I am not a fan of his at all. Though he is a nice guy.

Bielsa was only unexpected because no one tried to get him. People steer clear because his English is poor and he is a mad genius, who expects things to be done his way. The West Ham board would never have let him do things his way, they think they are football experts when they are morons when it comes to football.}

Can't disagree with any of that Ed. Cheers for your time.

{Ed001's Note - very welcome mate. Interesting convo. You are right I am harsh, that is the way I am about everything, I say it as I see it, but there is already enough people giving the positive side so I end up only getting to give the negative in comments really. It is articles and profiles etc that allow me to give a more balanced viewpoint, as I don't have to reply to what someone else has said, I can just give an overall view.}
