Don't post often but came across a rumour that FSG have received two offers in last 2 months for the club. The last one being for 2bn pounds. I was wondering if one of the Eds could elaborate as to the validity of this rumour, is it BS., is it truth or is there even some element of truth to it maybe.

2bn pound sounds like too good a return on their investment for FSG to turn down in my opinion, but in today's crazy market who knows what the club is valued at.

This might be a question more for Ed 2 and his vast knowledge of the financial side of football and the clubs value and if he's heard anything from his wide range of contacts regarding a takeoveras it's kind of an out of the blue rumour, for me anyway. Any answer appreciated Ed (s) .

That's good to hear Ed002. I think the club needs stability to go forward. We've got a young squad that hopefully can stay together for the next 5-6 years. A manager we all believe in and trust who the owners are backing. I wouldn't want a change in ownership rocking the boat.

Lets sell up the club to some money bags owners with limitless funds.

Then bin off Klopp and bring in Zinedine Zidane and sign a handful of mercenary galacticos. We could even get Neymar!

Then we coulld play exhibition games in New York Beijing and Scunthorpe and sell zillions of anime shirts,

A sale might have happened a few years ago but at the moment Liverpool is in a good place with regard to the owners, manager, and players (and even the fans) . It is just nice to know that people with money hold the club in such high regards as most fans.

I agree with you A. B. but it can only buy things if someone wants to sell. FSG don't want to sell and why would they? They don't need the money and don't need to sell.
