How come the subs points show up?

If one of my subs come on do I get the points?

Sorry to be a lemon, years since I've played it, I only played because of the rumours page league.

If one of your starting 11 doesn't play then your first sub swaps with them. Important to select the order of your subs.

You’re on to a winner anyhow if it’s letting you pick 12 starters and 4 subs.
I’d keep that under wraps 👍.

You don’t get the points of your subs but it tells you what you ‘would have’ scored had they been in your team. This helps you track and think about bringing them in (i. e. their form) .

There is also an option to ‘bench boost’ once a season. (Think of these like your three lifelines on who wants to be a millionaire) . With bench boost you do get their points so play it carefully. When your not-so-good players on the subs bench are all playing against teams below them for instance.
