Ed002 When you say the club tried to screw Lyon around what exactly do you mean? I thought they wanted to negotiate the payment structure after they found out about his knee. Did the club tried to force Lyon to sell him cheap?

{Ed002's Note - Done to death. There is a fee - pay it.}

They'd agreed a price prior to his medical and then, after they saw his dodgy knee, tried to lower the price.

I hardly think we can complain about our owners not just paying the fee in the last 12 months can we? We obviously didn’t see the value in the player.

Clearly there was a reason why we got cold feet at last minute. Well done the club thus far, from putting that information out to public if it was a medical issue. He would have been a brilliant addition, but we neex move on.

Dont agree. It's unfair on the individual to scaremonger like that and not take into consideration they may have made a full recovery. We seem to do this more than most teams and we should stop, as it could ruin his chances elsewhere. Why do that? Imaging getting nothing for players who we've got that have had similar injuries - Ings for instance - you'd be up in arms if the same occurred to our players.

Make the decision and keep internal. Don't be arsey about it.

I recently bought a house and following structural surveys it was noted there was a problem with the sub floor which may or may not cause major problems in the future. Rather than negotiate a discount to reflect the work required I just stumped up the cash. Ed2 taught me everything I know about negotiations 🤦🏼‍♂️.

{Ed0333's Note - I hope that sub floor never gives you any problems and people admire your sub floor for years to come.

You should have had the survey done before making an offer on the house. You got lucky there.

Everybody could look on google and find out Fekirs knee history. This should not have been a surprise. Why go for all that trouble and then try and renegotiate after the fee was agreed . Not surprised Lyon held their stance.

{Ed0333's Note - can we please just stop talking about Fekir please. My heart is broken in a million pieces due to this saga and the notion of Chelsea possibly/probably pinching him is gonna push me over the edge.
