Question for ed001 who was the first Liverpool player too score under a closed stadium roof?

{Ed001's Note - was it in the Millenium Stadium and the cup final against Arsenal? Michael 'Gutter Rat' Owen?}

No it was a Robbie Fowler penalty in Cardiff stadium pal.

Morning Ed001,I'm surprised you wasted your energy typing^Gutter Rat"about him.

{Ed001's Note - I know, but I was right about the Millenium Stadium, it was not called Cardiff Stadium then, I just didn't realise the roof was closed when we played Brum in the League Cup final.}

also I don't think the roof was closed for the "Michael Owen" final. I've got memories of a replay showing Gerard Houllier shielding his eyes from the sun whilst watching Owen peel away to score his 2nd. tho that could just be his old age. lol anyways am sure there was sun shining on the field that day. sun was shining for us anyways!

Surely it was Fowler’s wonder goal and not a pen?

Ye ed it was the millennium stadium pal I got that one wrong in a pub quiz aswell I too thought it was the rat.

{Ed001's Note - I just assumed Fowler was too obvious, as it was the first time we played there. My mistake, trying to be too clever, rather than just going with my initial thought.}
