Brill as always Ed. Cheeky bit about the Athletico transfer there 😁.

{Ed001's Note - cheers mate.}

Morning Ed01. I remember you called Conte out exactly, saying he’d win the league then it would fall apart. In relation to Sane’s comments, what do you think about Sarri? Will Chelsea challenge? Thanks.

{Ed001's Note - he will take them forward, but it might be a couple of seasons before they are in the mix for the title.}

Morning Ed.

Class that from David Luiz, always great to hear stuff like that.

Thanks mate, have a good day, hope you're feeling better today!

{Ed001's Note - he always has been a good bloke who does lots of stuff like that.}

4.) 24 Jul 2018
24 Jul 2018 07:41:50
Cheers mate.

{Ed001's Note - welcome Jimmy.}

24 Jul 2018 07:58:11
Thanks for that Ed001.

I'm having a 'dozy Tuesday' - what does the mic-drop reference?

{Ed001's Note - the final story mate.}

Cheers Ed001, what a fantastic response from Ozil’s agent. I thought the exact same thing when I saw Uli Hoeness‘ absurd comments.

Class act by Luiz, my cousin’s met a few Chelsea players over the years and said he was the pick of the bunch. Nice guy in general.

{Ed001's Note - I agree mate, he made Hoeness look like what he is - a complete dick. As for Luiz, he is one of footie's good guys.}

7.) 24 Jul 2018
24 Jul 2018 08:35:38
Was Uli hoeness a great player ed?

{Ed001's Note - good player, not so sure I would consider him a great player personally though.}

8.) 24 Jul 2018
24 Jul 2018 08:51:20
I think this is not the first time he has made absurd comments. I wonder why Bayern got him back as president after being convicted for tax evasion.
hehe Ozil's agent could have ended with hope he is paying his taxes allrite now and dropped the mic.

{Ed001's Note - good point, that would have been a good way to drop the mic, maybe he is holding on to that in case Hoeness makes a reply.}

9.) 24 Jul 2018
24 Jul 2018 08:55:20
Safe to say Sane is on drugs if he picked Chelsea over us to challenge them for the title this season, as you said above it'll take a while for them to gel to the new system plus of they do lose hazard and cortious (spelling) OUCH lol

Love the drop the mic pic for the ozil bit though haha

And a under the radar well done to Mohammed Eisa, from the 8th tier to the 2nd in 2 seasons wow lol

Cheers as always ed1 :)

{Ed001's Note - thank you Philinho. Glad you enjoyed.}

Ed do you think this why Germany failed at WC. The Harmony in the squad was off balance and maybe a groups of players were not there mentally. Of course they didn't select the best team either. No Sane, gnabry, can.
I mean this could really blow out of proportions if German Football doesn;t handle it well.

{Ed001's Note - it certainly didn't help, I mean Sane was left out because he was disrupting things, so clearly Low knew there was an issue.}

11.) 24 Jul 2018
24 Jul 2018 09:06:17
Thanks Ed, another banger! So gutted Mo Eisa has left Cheltenham Town. He scored over 20 goals last season so will be a huge miss for the club.

{Ed001's Note - I was thinking that when I saw the story, very surprised they sold him.}

12.) 24 Jul 2018

Don’t write off Chelsea 🤝.

13.) 24 Jul 2018
24 Jul 2018 09:27:11
Philinho, I thought the same mate. Chelsea thrive under pressure but losing them two will push them back big time. Imo they won't get top 4, it'll be the same top 4 as last season I think but they'll be back that's for sure.

Sane not mentioning us is a bit mad isn't it lol maybe he's still gutted because we battered them and TAA owned him.

14.) 24 Jul 2018
24 Jul 2018 09:45:29
Do you rate Ozil highly ed? / have you done a profile on him yet? I see lots of wonderful moments from him, but mainly against so called weaker opposition and rarely do I remember him shining in the big games. He had 5 minutes of brilliance against us last season but was poor the rest of the game. It would help if his teammates were on he same level as him but it just seems like he’s an enigma and it confuses me.

{Ed001's Note - you say that because you just don't notice what he is doing. He creates numerous chances in a game yet people will criticise him afterwards for doing nothing, when it is the striker who is missing the chances that is the issue. Mesut Ozil profile

15.) 24 Jul 2018
24 Jul 2018 09:50:33
Deflection from Sane big time. Man City KNOW we are their closest challengers this time out. This is Pep talk spreading through Citeh blowing smoke up Sarri's ass. Can you boys smell the fear wafting over from Manchester? Sane son. played your cards too early.

16.) 24 Jul 2018
24 Jul 2018 10:25:06
Salah / Phil -just saying. If you read the article about the actual interview of Sane he does 1st mention Chelsea but goes on to say that Liverpool have bought well and will be dangerous too.

17.) 24 Jul 2018
24 Jul 2018 11:29:55
Love David Luiz off the pitch. A genuine good guy who is very happy with the life footie has given him and is always there to share with others as well. As for Sane not picking us to closely challenge them for the PL, why are people shocked by that? You are aware that WE are the ones that have embarrassed City the most since Pep arrived at City and the hammerings we gave them (3 out of 4 games) is not something he is ready to forget any time soon. hence, he is just being bitter and not wanting to admit that we could genuinely challenge them EVEN THO I would not sleep on Chelsea either cos they can still do the business BUT losing Courtois and Hazard will send them back A LOT.

18.) 24 Jul 2018
24 Jul 2018 11:41:56
I think Ozil is a fantastic player, one of the best in the world.
His comments are a little strange and disappointing to hear though, I think he has some genuine concerns and some not so genuine.
Meeting a fascist dictator like erdogan during an election campaign is always going to land you abuse, he’s a nasty piece of work to put it lightly and Ozil and co should have known better, if people want to accuse him of not being loyal to Germany after that I would say they are wrong, if they want to accuse him of allowing himself of being a propaganda puppet for erdogan then they would be right to do so in my opinion. Serious lack of judgement from Ozil there.

19.) 24 Jul 2018
24 Jul 2018 11:32:36
I'll be honest. I hadn't heard of Hoeness before those ridiculous remarks but well done to Ozil's agent for making the guy look like an embarrassment. Its just such a shame that we're deep into 2018 and racism is still such a prevailing factor in our lives, let alone football.
Thanks for the review Ed. Hope you feel better today?

From what I remember, Uli Hoeness was a very good winger. Was pivotal in winning that World Cup for Germany and those European cups for Bayern Munich. But the fact that he and the rest of that Bayern "gang" (since the 70's) has been running the club, has clearly gotten to his brain. You would think that a convicted criminal would keep a lower profile and abstain from making such senile and incendiary comments. Too much of football is/ was run by people who think they are above the law (Havelange, Texeira, Beckenbauer, Blatter, Platini and various others) .

21.) 24 Jul 2018

That's a strange set up in Scotland isn't it? Players out on loan can still play in reserve matches for their parent club? That has to cause issues surely? Did I get that right Ed01? Say celtic loan a player to the dons and the dons are close behind celtic and say there is an important game between the two couldn't celtic recall the loanee to play a reserve match a few days before the game, therefore disrupting the dons preperation and putting an extra 90 mins on the loanees legs.

I also think Chelsea could do well. Sarri is an amazing manager and he is working with probably slightly better players at Chelsea. I've noticed too that Chelsea seem to have a good season followed by a bad season followed by a good season etc. Is this a case of players deciding they don't want to play for a manager after the 1st year, they are trying to get rid or is this a tactic to try and keep players fitter for longer. Or is it a fluke? It is weird though. 10th place finish to winning the league in style and then a struggle for 5th when the season before people were saying they are one of the greatest teams ever of pl era.

{Ed001's Note - the reserve games are only about 17 a season in total mate.}

22.) 24 Jul 2018
24 Jul 2018 14:16:16
Interesting about Chelseaz I’m with you Ed, I think it will take 2 years for Sarri to get them challenging. Does any manager get 2 years without challenging at Chelsea though?

{Ed001's Note - I think they will give him a season to sort things out.}

23.) 24 Jul 2018
24 Jul 2018 14:18:44
Oh thanks Ed. I still think it could change the whole loan situation in a subtle way

Most people have a bit of decorum and a sense of honour but some don't.

{Ed001's Note - I doubt it will make much difference, the games would be played in gaps between first team games, so they can play for both sides easily. It is usually lower league sides taking players on loan anyway.}

24.) 24 Jul 2018
24 Jul 2018 15:21:18
Pfffffffffff. Joao Moutinho to Wolves, good thing there's rules against a club having an advantage thanks to an agent.

Good read up thanks edd 1 also as salah said good on Luiz. I'd never heard that he did things like before, but good in the feller.

{Ed001's Note - he is well known for being a good lad neggie. One of footie's good uns.}

26.) 24 Jul 2018
24 Jul 2018 17:21:09
Maybe sane meant they would be their biggest challengers for second behind us eh. 😉.

Cheers Ed. Forgot I'd asked you anything this morning, sorry wasnt being intentionally ignorant.

{Ed001's Note - no worries mate I had long forgotten don't worry.}
