Question for the eds.

Did Alisson sign because he really wanted to come or were we the only ones who would pay the money Roma wanted?

It was pretty obvious that he wanted to go Real but doesn’t everyone? id say the majority if not all of our squad would go to Real if offered the chance. I wouldn’t get too hung up on us not being his preferred destination.

I think ed02 said a while back that he didn't expect him to join LFC so I was just wondering that's all.

End of the day, he signed for us. He wouldn't of done it unless he was happy to do so, that's enough for me. As cobra says, the majority of players would want to end up at RM but that doesn't mean they will. I'm sure we're going to have a very happy Alisson for years to come.

David De Gea also wanted to go to Real Madrid 3 or 4 years ago and he is still at Man Utd and has brilliant for them. You don't always get what you want.

I think some people have really missed the point.

I was Hoping Alisson didn't see us as a stepping stone to bigger things but obviously with all your opinions I see my genuine question has an obvious answer.
