Eds n reds. i would personally be more then happy if we don't bring in a Draxler or Fekir type player. as much that would be amazing, i would be more then happy to have Lallana rotating with Woodburn in that attacking midfield role. i mean, we have more then strengthened in pretty much every position needed. would love to see us fast track the development of Woodburn. plus i am also a big fan of Lallana as a player so would be happy for him to stay as a regular, assuming he is playing at that level he was before his long time out. again tho, i obviously wouldn't mind if we brough in Fekir or Draxler and do the same thing rotating with Woodburn but with how good this window has been for us i just feel its being greedy asking for or wanting another player of that calibre haha.

Hit agree by mistake was meant to disagree! So you don’t want to challenge for the title and improve the squad?

We need a creative midfilder everyone knoes it. It would be a huge mistake to ignore.

{Ed025's Note - bloody hell booboy what more do you want?, if this was one of the manchester clubs or chelsea you would be saying that they are trying to buy the league and giving them pelters, just be happy with what has been done up to now mate..

Of course he does pegleg, he wasn't saying that mate. Part of me agrees with him because I'm all for giving youngsters their chances but Fekir? I can't not want him at the club, he's brilliant and would be a fantastic addition. I do wonder what will happen with Woodburn though if somebody like Fekir did sign. Luckily the lad is only 18, he probably wouldn't get game time at Liverpool next season so in my opinion a loan would be the best option, at only 18, he has plenty of time to break through.

Edd 25 is correct. It really does look like we are trying to buy the league.
I am going to put my admittedly thin reparation on the line by saying we win nothing this year. Possibly a 2nd place finish but 3rd is my thinking.
Also I'll add klopps gone after the season the owners won't want to splash the coach and get nothing in return.

{Ed025's Note - i dont know how you can say that walter, klopp is building a dynasty at liverpool and with the tremendous backing of FSG the future looks very rosy to me mate..

I'm sure he says this stuff for a reaction Ed25 mate lol he can't be serious, surely, Walter? please tell me you aren't being serious mate.

I have always respected you as a poster, you have me in stitches at times mate but it's time to get positive and get behind this incredible team, good things are coming mate so it's time to be chuffed!

Negativeredwalter, you should be running the country, you'd fit straight in with all the wallies 😂.

We drew 12 games in the league last season, just under a third of our matches. Several of them were against relegation candidates including WBA (twice), Everton (twice) and Stoke.

We need a creative player desperately irrespective of how many players we have already signed, otherwise we will be in the mix for fourth, fifth and sixth place again.

Haha. How can you be negative about fsg backing klopp all the way Walter? This is the start of something special and klopp is the man to take us forward as he has done each season so far. Titles may not be won this season but they are coming, with the players we are bringing in!

I hope I’m wrong about Fekir, I just don’t share the love for him. I can’t see him being an automatic starter for us.

As much as I’d like us to sign Fekir, we can wait it out, Keïta gives us creativity and drive in midfield and with Fabinho in the centre it can allow Henderson to get around the middle of the pitch. Centre midfield we are pretty strong and Shaqiri gives us more strength in the attacking third, not having Ox is a big loss, but we have enough depth to cope now.

To be fair Ron, none of the midfield players will be automatic starters, they’ll all rotate with obviously some being higher up the food chain than others and starting a lot more than some lol.

Salah being 100% serious. I am desperate for us to do well this season, probably more than you.
I just happen to think klopp will muck it up.
If we are honest over the last half a decade plus, klopp has been a serial looser. With the backing he's got, even though he said he wouldn't need much he will pay the price for failure
To aussie mark I never said the owners were bad. I just feel they want value for money and they won't be getting it under klopp.

Ron, I think Klopp's obsession with fekir is more to do with his unique individual qualities (which our other players don't possess) than his overall ability as a footballer. Klopp will expect him to play around 75% of the games, especially when the opposition park the bus. Otherwise a midfield trio of Hendo, Fab and Nab looks the best balanced against top opposition. The CAM conundrum for Klopp requires a player with a particular skill set and Fekir seems to be the only one that fits Klopp's requirements. This has everything to do with Fekir being Klopp's ideal CAM rather than his overall ability as a footballer (which ain't too bad btw) .

This is by the far the best window we have had for years and what has been needed to kick us on, not getting rid of our best and building on a good team, enjoy it.
