If Alisson comes it’ pretty obvious he is 1st choice league and CL - and mignolet will probably leave.
Do you see karius staying for cup games? Will he go on loan?
Do you see us getting an experienced number two as well? I think it’s best for all if karius does go now, due to how he was treated, and the fact he’s still young with a hopefully bright future, just probably elsewhere.

I honestly think Karius needs a season on loan somewhere outside of England to rebuild his confidence.

In my opinion if, alisson comes in then migs definitely goes, karius on loan to rebuild his belief and mental state, maybe back to germany for a year or two to sort his head out. leaving ward the cup games and maybe one or two league games. I think everyone would be happy (wellish anyway)

Karius on loan to get his confidence back, then come back to us as one of the best in the world when Becker uses us as a stepping stone to Spain. Ward number 2 in the meantime.

If Alisson comes, then the first thing Karius should do is get out away from the vitriolic hate spewing Liverpool supporters. Why would he want to stick around after what he has been subjected to by them?

Im also wondering what Danny Ward must be thinking after being seemingly lied to again by Klopp. One day he gets told he is in a challenge for number one keeper with Karius, a few days later he is making a big money, world record bid for a new keeper.

We’ve had enough trouble getting one keeper, I think 2 is too much to ask 😄.

Alisson won't be using us as a stepping stone to Spain in my opinion. The way i see it, he either goes this summer, or probably never.

Atletico have Oblak who is younger and better. Barcelona have Ter Stegen who is a similar age. Real Madrid look like they'll have Courtois who is also a similar age.

All the big hitters in Spain will have their goalkeeper situation secured for a decade by this August. Even if Courtois, Ter Stegen or Oblak ever left, I'd bet De Gea will be the first keeper they all enquire about.

Maybe we could end up as a stepping stone to Bayern or PSG when Neuer or Buffon retire. Juventus are clearly not interested in Alisson though or they'd have looked at him when Buffon left.

Just my opinion, but if Alisson signs, I think he stays for at least 6 or 7 years.
