Quick question for Ed01 on shaqiri if possible, just wanted your opinion. I know he has the ability to be an excellent player and people are worried about his attitude, a lot of people think that Klopp is going to be the one to sort him out but do you think it could be something as simple as after the teams he's played for and trophies he's won then going to Stoke and getting relegated could be humbling enough to re-evaluate his approach and the knowledge it could be his last chance at a big club?

{Ed001's Note - not really no. It is hardly hitting rock bottom and getting a wake up call. What will be more use will be the attitude of the manager and players around him, to keep him on his toes and his feet on the ground.}

I would have preferred Fekir and Wilson to cover the wide forward positions personally, but it’s also 100% clear that we needed a quality senior player to back up Mane and Salah, and if Fekir isn’t 100% sorted then I’m glad we’ve moved for XS. Shaqiri is a gamechanger and has an excellent set piece delivery, and you don’t get that for 13m these days.

Of course attitude is potentially an issue, but Klopp doesn’t suffer fools and this team is tight and won’t easily be disrupted. I think it’s a shrewd piece of business if Klopp and the team can keep him engaged, as it gives us a potential match winner on the bench (or potentially even raise the competition for first team places) for not much money, hopefully leaving us budget to fix a starting position we actually need to change (GK)

SGRed, Fekir is not a wide player and that is not the best place for him even for cover and even if he can deputize there. Wilson? I would have given him his chance but it seems Klopp needs him to develop other aspects of his game, per ED01.
