Is it jus me or do people think the Shaqiri deal mirrors the Balotelli one? Both hav had issues at previous clubs, check. Both hav talent but lack the mentality to produce it on a regular basis, check. Both (in terms of transfer fee) seem pretty low risk, check. Both don't like to put a shift in for the team, check. Both failed at lfc? Suppose we will find out in coming months.

Some similarities but if Shaqiri doesn’t perform in training then he won’t make the squad full stop. and if he performs in training, then gets a chance in the team and again doesn’t put in the necessary effort then he will be benched quick time.

We will see I guess. I do think Shaqiri has shown more than MB ever really did in the premier league. I think he’s not the worst option from the bench (ability wise)
