One for Ed025 if he's around. Now that Pickford realises that he can cut it with the best do you think he will look for a move? wink wink.

{Ed025's Note - i am actually not his biggest fan to be honest verdo, i dont think he is commanding enough and he struggles with crosses, he also has a tendency to push the ball back into play when he makes a save but he is young and i think he can become a top keeper one day, his reflexes are excellent and his distribution second to none so maybe im being a bit harsh on him, but i cant see him leaving everton as he is on the up just like the peoples club and him and our club are destined for great things in the near future mate...so be afraid..be very afraid..

I like Pickford, I said last season I hoped we signed him before he joined Everton. I watched a lot of him at Preston and really liked what I saw, he isn’t the finished article but there seems to be a real lack of top keepers around at the moment and he seems one of the best coming through.

Ed25, I agree with your assessment of Pickford's flaws and his strong points BUT you had me in stitches with this: "on the up just like the peoples club and him and our club are destined for great things in the near future mate. so be afraid. be very afraid. " How about you try to get some shots on target on a consistent basis before jumping to such extremes ok, Ed? Lol.

{Ed025's Note - its just around the corner brover...you heard it here first mate..

I think you've got a good keeper ed025. I thought he was good before he signed for Everton, I've forgotten it was Sunderland or Borough? I've been swayed by opinion of him here and decided he wasn't all that but he is good. He is young, so young it's frightening. He could become one of the best.

Only 6ft but so was Ray clemence. As a striker I would be looking to capatalise on his parris but he makes up for it with fast reactions and high agility. Good keeper.

{Ed025's Note - a bit green yet but hopefully good times ahead for the lad PH..

Ed25.
Last time I was afraid of Everton was in 86,first trip to Wembley and my first live cup final. When Lineker opened the scoring you guys led until half time. Rusty settled my nerves in the second half, the rest is history, league and cup double.

Banter aside, I’ll never forget that day. At one point the whole stadium was singing” Merseyside “ and “ are you watching Manchester “
Imense ed25.

{Ed025's Note - i was there as well drogie, it seemed like i was the only blue in the liverpool end and when gary scored i was the only one around whooping and a hollering, not a hint of trouble though and even though it went tits up for us it was all off to the pub together singing songs and having a bloody great time, pity its not the same these days mate as the knuckle draggers seem to have spoilt all the fun..
