I was talking to a couple of lads during the weeks who seemed to think that Henderson may be dropped into centre half for the new season with Keita and Fabiano coming in. I haven’t thought of it or how he would do there but what’s your opinion guys do u think he could play there? We seen Klopp put even wijinaldum and can there before and Henderson is a tall strong lad who has had to adapt his game to incorporate more defensive duties and put a defensive head on so maybe reading the game would come naturally now to him from that position, and you could still have your captain in the team and more cover at cb?

More likely to be dropped in majority of games and fizzled out as captain eventually. That's football.

I am far from certain Hendo is simply going to be dropped from the majority of our games LFC8, I think it is more likely he won't play more than one game a week due to his injury history, as Ed001 has suggested previously, hence the strengthening of our midfield this summer. I was under the impression that Klopp loves Hendo.

At his age I can’t see him being happy being fizzled out as captain and dropped for majority of games, especially if another attacking mid comes in. It’s a strange one for him, do you think we could see him leave the club soon if this was to become the case?

Fitness aside, he'll be a regular starter in midfield next season.
