I’m so embarrassed by some of these so called fans. The reaction after the fekir thing has been ridiculous. And to top it all of I see peoples comments on facebook and the Liverpool page like sign fekir or atleast sign someone!
I mean what does that even mean, sign someone!
I understand why ed002 calls Liverpool fans the things he calls them. They feel like they’re entitled to something, like the club owes them something.

Agreed mate, the level of abuse towards the club especially on social media has been crazy, even some threats towards Michael Edwards, this is unacceptable. Be all and end all though mate, these people aren't fans, they're bloody weirdos.

We have seen a new breed of every person since social media began. Football is just another area for the scum of the earth to degrade. It offers no social benefit, just a deterioration of moral standards. To me twitter and the rest is just like leaving a dirty sponge out on the side for bacteria to fester. Gross.

Bardzo, exactly my thoughts too mate. I mean I have facebook purely to keep in touch with a few family members and follow a couple of Liverpool pages but the comments get absolutely ridiculous on there, it's just full of keyboard warriors and nasty people. Poison.

Spot on to all the boys on this thread. "Just sign someone"? Really? This is what being "triggered" by something on SM means. To them, LFC should just sign someone to make them happy, regardless of how big of a financial and football liability said someone would/ could cause. There is the typical LFC fan that Ed02 goes on about and can you blame him?

It's the instant gratification culture youngsters have. The same people calling for sign fekir are the same fans hoping we get a nice price for sturridge. Fekir could be the next sturridge and I for one am glad the current owners are looking a fter the clubs long term interests. There are other good no10s out there we could get and I'm sure the club have a few alternatives in mind.

I would love Fekir but if it was the injury which put us off fair enough. If we tried to get a discount after the medical and Lyon weren't happy then nothing we can do.

It's a long summer, I don't think it's quite as simple as we want him, no it's off. If we hold serious interest we might have a surprise at the end of summer. If not we might sigh someone else who turns out to be very good.

Thanks for the Ed's input, 002 must be pulling his hair out at some of the questions though.

It's already been super exciting so hopefully a few nice surprises a long the way.
