Have you thought about a 'pinned post' or a page, with the current state of play with potential transfers (in and out), and even a time-stamp on the latest update.

This would give somewhere for most posters who ask the same questions every 5 minutes a place to go and take some of the pressure off yourself and the other Ed's.

Ed you would think after every transfer window going the same way we would’ve learned. But we are a special breed, nice and clean these things take time and a lot of effort behind the scene.

Look at the "Match Posts" page. Hardly anyone ever posts there after games despite it being there for that purpose. People are creatures of habit and unless there is incentive to change, they simply won't do it.
