Great read Ed001. If Dembele is being described as the best young player in the world, makes me want us to get him more but makes me think increasingly unlikely!

{Ed001's Note - it was his mate saying it though.}

To be fair though, said mate is a pretty decent player himself.

{Ed001's Note - probably far more deserving of the title as well.}

Thanks for the read ed001 it's good to be back haven't been on in a year haha feel abit sorry for Ashley Williams hope he had a speedy recovery. Although I've never thought he was good enough personally to be at a decent side your thoughts ed?

{Ed001's Note - I don't rate him at all, he is not a very good player.}

Probably doing it to just boost his confidence, I'd put Mbappe, Asensio and Pulisic before Dembele.

Interesting little ditty from timo Werner citing Kietas move to Liverpool being the kind of step he needs to take. Not sure if it was meant to be so literal but I'll hang on to it for now!

Ed, do you know anything as to why Gourcuff’s career has worked out like it has? In about 2009, he looked set to be a brilliant upcoming midfielder based on 6 months of performances with Bordeaux, but nothing ever materialised with regard to that.

{Ed001's Note - he has never been able to perform consistently well. Some players lose their edge once they get a big move and he did that.}

The second time Werner has name dropped us in a week. He looks as though he wants a move somewhere. Never seen him play, and there appears to be no interest from us so I’m not speculating but I do wonder what Klopp is going to do with Sturridge, Ings, Solanke, Origi, Woodburn and Wilson next year.
It seems to me that the front three may sit behind a front man next season in some games. Be interesting to see what happens considering some are young, some are injury prone.

Ed, I presume Gaston Ramirez isn’t in Uruguay’s squad so he can finalise his move to us?

{Ed001's Note - about time too.}

Thanks for the daily review Ed. I didn't realise that Gourcuff was still playing.

{Ed001's Note - to be honest I had completely forgotten about him until I saw that!}

Correct me if I'm wrong ed but didn't we enquire about Ashley Williams under Brendan?

{Ed001's Note - I don't remember us enquiring, I just remember tabloids linking us as he was Brendan's captain at Swansea.}

Thanks for the reply ed I appreciate it.

{Ed001's Note - welcome mate. Makes a nice change from the constant 'what is the change in situation with X since an update was given over 5 minutes ago now and I have to have second-by-second account' questions...}

To be honest mate I read the posts a lot so I don't see the point in asking the same question. I have a child and that is a frequent of everyday life haha so I know how you feel it's when your two year old asks you why to every question haha keep up the good work all the eds.

{Ed001's Note - it feels like that at times on here!}
