Hi ed002, what's the latest on the 'conspiracy' news? Didn't happen yesterday or this morning?

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool will likely not be told until next week now.}

"Conspiracy" news? what's that about? Sorry to ask if its obvious.

{Ed002's Note - It is simply about the punishments Liverpool are awaiting hearing about.}

Not sure if it's a conspiracy if we are deserving of them. The only conspiracy we will probably see is the ridiculously small sanctions Russia gets when we hear racist chanting at the world cup.

Will ........

{Ed002's Note - Why bother trolling the site with this crap. There will be plenty to whine about when details come out.}

At this stage I think it'll take a game behind closed doors for people to stop playing with fecking flares.

Why do you need a flare at football match anyway?

Personally love the flairs at the game, looks intimidating. However throwing bricks at a bus is out of order.
Hopefully just a fine.

{Ed002's Note - It is rather more complicated than that.}

All well and good until one gets accidentally dropped it on someone's head.

I know it's become fashionable to criticise Political Correctness and Health and Safety Culture Gone Mad and "Generation Snowflake" all that, but flares don't really belong in a crowd of 54,000 people, imo.

We have misbehaved repeatedly. While I hate the thought of sanctions they are absolutely overdue and fully deserved. Really hope the club learn from this. Ed2- thanks for the heads up.

{Ed002's Note - This is related to, yet again, issues with the fans. Previous issues will also be raised, as will a couple of other matters.}

Flares are potentially very dangerous, they need to be banned from the market because at the moment they are cheap and very easy to get hold of. I'll admit they do look good in the crowd but it's safety what matters and it's an accident waiting to happen.

People who throw these at football matches have no respect for others, what if there's a child nearby who had asthma? or even an adult, with the chemicals the flares have, they are dangerous.

A few children have already died in the past in the result of flares been used, it needs to stop otherwise it'll happen again. Obviously it's not intentionally to harm somebody but the risk is there therefore they should be banned from the market.

What's wrong with flares? I wear them to most games. Admittedly I haven't had grapefruit in years, but that's more breath related than flares.

So ........

{Ed002's Note - This is why there is so little point explaining anything to the Liverpool supporters. The ignorance of deflection, attempts to justify matters etc.. You clearly don't understand what is happening or what has happened.}

There are too many occasions where our fans misbehave.

And for those who have questioned whether flares are okay- suggest you read up on the immediate aftermath of Wales losing a WC qualifier at home to Romania for (I believe) USA ‘94.

That’s why incendiary devices aren’t allowed in grounds.

ANYBODY who tries to back up the use of flares needs to do a little more research, because they aren't good in any way shape or form, when they can be life threatening how can they be backed up? people have died from the use of flares is that not enough?

In 1992, 1993 and 2013 three people was killed because of people being too damn right selfish using them. Two of which were children. If this was your children would you still support flares at a football game? I think not.
