I have to say, what a European journey we have enjoyed this season, the fantastic football we witnessed, those electric nights at Anfield. A team can prepare and train for 2 weeks, team talks can be given, however you can not plan for individual errors. Yes poor goal keeping, yes a great goal by bale, should a player of his quality playing for one of the top sides in Europe be given the space in our 18 yard box to execute a strike like that?
Should our club be reliant on 1 player? However it is how we respond, do we replace the keeper? Yes, if he is better than what we have, will we strengthen? Yes we will and hopefully with players of not just high quality but hard working player with the attributes required to take us to the next level. We don't have a God given right to win these trophies and we shouldn't look for excuses why we lost . We thank the manager and players for the great moments from last season, we look forward to what next season holds and win lose or draw, we continue to support whoever is wearing the red shirt next season, including the goalkeeper.
