Not only does Karius have to live with his errors on the pitch but it seems that every malicious maggot with an InstaTwitFace account is now baying for his blood (not to mention one or two on here) .
Jordan Henderson was not just being diplomatic when he said that we win as a team and lose as a team. There was a number of reasons why Madrid beat us and not all of them involved Loris Karius: unfortunate injury to Salah after Ramos rough-housing him; poor marking on Bale; lousy final ball to the forwards; poor substitions, etc. Add to that the fact that Madrid were on form when it counted on the big occasion.
Karius was at fault for two goals, the team as a whole were responsible for an average performance. But it seems there needs to be a sole scapegoat for the derelict minds to gang up on.
The sight of a distraught Loris Karius sobbing while apologising to the mass of travelling fans will stay with me for a long time. Take away our desperation to see our team succeed and there's a young man who erred on the biggest professional stage in front of half the world, who bared his soul and emotions in front of the same audience and took full personal responsibility for the loss.
Id like to think the true supporters of this club will have his back and show him support in the next few weeks instead of creating a scapegoat and pariah. The debate over whether or not he is good enough for Liverpool is not relevant just yet and should be postponed until emotions die down. For now, Karius should not be walking alone.

On form? the only thing they didnwas to keep the ball. after exit of salah the only time we pressed was when we scored the goal. after bales wonder goal. we just stopped playing.

Fair point made. but karius in goal means we won't win trophies. I've been about backing him and he may still become class. But he can't be our number 1 next season. The first goal was absolutely unforgivable. I hate to bash players but a circle is a circle and a mistake is a mistake. Karius' mistakes cost us the goals that lost the match. Not confident we would of won anyway because when salah came off we forgot how to play. This is why we always get called a 1 man team. However without the unforced errors it's not 3-1 and tbh Madrid hardly peppered our goal.
