I'm reading a lot of complaints about being miserably anxious ahead of the final.

I am in a wedding on Saturday, and I have to arrive at kickoff time. I won't be able to watch the game, will have my phone turned off, and will take solace in the fact that no one watches football/ soccer here.

I am supposed to stick around for at least 8 hours after that (I'm watching the game as soon as I get home, whether I'm toasted, tired, or whatever. )

It's literally making me dread Saturday that I can't watch it live. I don't wanna hear your complaints. Someone please have a few cheers for me at the game, so jealous I can't at least watch it.

Unless it was my own wedding I wouldn’t be there - simple as.

TjRed I am also at a wedding on Saturday!

I am so gutted!

The worst bit is that lots of football fans are going so they will be updating everyone on the score via their phones, so I can't even record it and watch it later in the evening/ next day without knowing the outcome! (I like to do this with match of the day on the weekends) .

There is nothing like watching it live.
Why does your phone have to be off for all those hours?
I know it's a wedding but is it happening in a police state?

Definitely wouldn't be doing it!

buy an earpiece, you only have to LOOK like you are paying attention.
