Seen one of the eds, 001 I believe, say he wanted Alderweireld. Is this at all realistic? I understand he's been linked strongly with United, could you seen any possibility where we could sign him if we were interested?

Levy will squeeze blood from any suitors before selling him. He is modern day gem at the back. Wouldn’t mind Vetronghen though!

Alderweireld has been excellent since his Southampton days (somehow he didn't cut the mustard at At. Madrid) - missed a beat there with him and there's not a snowball's chance we'd get him now sadly.

Still, we have Van Dijk now and if we can get one more top CB in the summer, we could be in for a much better defensive showing next season (Lovren - less) .

I know he has improved recently and he has some personal issues, but he's not good enough to be a starter for a top 4 side, there I've said it sorry :)
