Firstly, apologies to RationalRed, as he first posted on this topic a bit earlier.

A shout out to Ed001 or Ed002, could you please explain the rules in both the EPL/ FL and the SPL regarding both how many players you are allowed to loan in during a season, and, specifically, how many players you are allowed to loan in from any one club?

Context is trying work out how many players Rangers could loan from us next season?

I've tried to research (I. e. Google! ) it myself, but there doesn't appear to be a very clear, succinct answer, and my head has started to hurt with all of the possible permutations!

Thank you!

{Ed002's Note - A I recall, 5 in a season, 4 at any time, two from any club. So two. But i also recall they were tough to interpret - Ed007 may know better.}

Thank you very much Ed002. I'd kind of surmised the same from various sources, but agree that the rules are extremely tough to interpret!

If Mr Bond (007) is around, I'd appreciate his views too!

{Ed002's Note - I think they are written in Scotch. Ask Ed007 is he can translate. I am not anywhere I have access, but what I recall I explained.}

They write the rules in whisky?

{Ed002's Note - No, Scotch. It is one of those strange guttural languages like Crimean Tatar rather than an Athabascan language like Navajo that has no vowels.}
