What's everyone's strongest lineup for Russia?
I think vardy should start, as should Kane alli and sterling, but don't see how they all fit in without playing vardy wide. I'd like to see a 3-5-2 with maybe vardy and Kane up too, sterling at 10, hendo and Alli in the middle and not even sure who the full backs are? I guess from what Southgate has done recently he sees walker as his rcb and Cahill and smalling as the other two. I'd pick taa over trippier but don't think Southgate would. Also picking between young and Rose is hard as both are pretty bad, but have to give it to rose, what happened to Bertrand.
I'd argue with myself that alli should be out for a proper cm as he's very attacking, but think he can produce something and can't for the life of me being myself to pick Livermore - maybe reluctantly dier instead?

{Ed0333's Note - I mean this with the greatest of respect but you just reaffirmed how boring international football is. Now I know how people who are not into sports feel like.

Can't be arsed about the World Cup, just hoping for no injuries to our players and that they play well for their countries.

Might be a good experience for TAA although I doubt he'll get any minutes.

England have be awful recently, but come the first game I will be willing them on! If they can produce anything it will be better than years gone by, and people only have this attitude because they haven't. If they fight and play well people will watch and be interested. Hopefully this is a young hungry squad, I just fear it will be all more of the same.

We may be calling it boring now but once the world cup kicks off we will soon forget our club sides. Albeit only for a few weeks.

I don't know who should start but kane will that's for certain and where there's Harry there is Ali. I think vardy will make a fantastic sub when defences are tired. I actually think Harry and sterling is our best top two.

Its the world cup, you have to be excited about it if you love football . I am not an England supporter but hope we'll do well, will be good for the country.
I would go with Pope, any 2 of the center backs (sorry but they all as bad as each other) ; with Young and Walker either side. Henderson and Delph to protect the back with either going forward when needed. then a line of three, Sterling and Rashford either side of Alli and Kane up front. Do hope Trent get some world cup minutes.
