Anyone know how many players one club is allowed to loan out to another? Really wouldn't mind if we loan out a good chunk of our promising youngsters who aren't getting game time to Rangers. Theyd be working with Gerrard and that can only be a good thing. Chelsea seem to have been doing this with Vitesse for a while now so I'd like to see Woodburn, Ejaria, Grujic, Wilson etc go to Rangers if they're not in Klopps immediate plans for the upcoming season.

I'd loan some to NEC also.

I'd rather we loaned them out somewhere where we know they'll have a good coach personally.

Off the top of my head I think top flight teams are only allowed a maximum of 4 and a maximum of 2 from a single club. I've not looked at the rules for years though since we had Moses and Cissokho on loan, so I could be miles out.

I'm not sure I've been able to decipher the SPFL rules but as far as I can make out an SPFL club is only allowed 4 loan players in any one season and there is a maximum of three players from any one club allowed on loan, including development loans. but I cannot see if that is only the case within the SPFL or for loans between SPFL teams and foreign football leagues. Some say that these are not loans because they are foreign transfers with a return date and therefore not subject to limitation. I reckon only Ed001 or Ed002 can answer this question with any level of accuracy.

Gerrard might be trying to win things tho.

We should be heeding the words of at least Ed001 and ed002 and having a more structured and calculated strategy for sending players out on loan.
