I've been vocally critical of Jack Butland ever since he was initially linked, because just don't think he is that good a goalkeeper (since his injuries) .

However, I trust Macca fully so I am going to have to suck it up and hope his injuries are fully behind him. Hopefully he'll look good behind a better defence!

One though, is that he is unlikely to be anything other than first choice. He may be the most expensive keeper ever until August when De Gea goes to Real Madrid 👀.

Disagree mate I think klopp likes Karius more then we all know he will be number 1 still next season.

I think we'll get a clearer view if / when the price tag is announced. If Stoke have dropped the asking price he may be a back up. Lambert suggested £30m was derogatory though! If it is more than that, it's hard to imagine us putting the world record goalkeeper signing on the bench!
