Redmond if they go down?

{Ed001's Note - please no! Why on earth do people want dross that are not good enough to get regular games in relegated teams?}

A lot of bad names been banded about recently, who's next!

Cuco anybody?

Just an option off the bench I quite like the player. No thanks to Cuco.

{Ed001's Note - why do you like him? He is crap.}

Yeh seen a few random names last few days. Redmond hasn't even been a guaranteed starter in a poor Southampton outfit. Would rather give the likes of woodburn / wilson game time than clog up the squad with average players and block a youngsters progression. Best thing about klopps transfer strategy seems to be he hasn't signed many players for the sake of signing them.

BlameItOnTraore, exactly my thoughts too mate.

When I’ve seen him which granted isn’t a lot he’s look pacey and has a good shot on him. Think Klopp could develop him.

I wouldn’t suggest we buy players for the sake of it but we do need to improve depth a bit. If we sell Wilson and who knows what woodburns long term role will be. Ojo I think will go so just some cover for the wide forwards. Obviously not the same level as the current boys and Fékir would be the best choice but i can’t say I’ve seen anything more than stats on the player and highlight reels.

{Ed001's Note - Redmond is awful, he can barely control the ball.}

Showed some potential a few years ago. never really kicked on if anything he's gone backwards. similar to jordan ibe i would say and ibe would struggle to get a start in our 23s almost at the moment.

Redman has 2 good games a season.

Q a worldy tonigt Ed 😂 I’ll take your opinion on it dude everyone has them right or wrong as they may be👍🏻.

{Ed001's Note - if you watch him play, watch his head, it is like he has a broken neck as he never lifts his head up. He wastes chance after chance to create something because he is just running into someone as he hasn't picked his head up.}

Not sure how well Redmond would be 'Developed' at 24, considering he'd get far less game time and isn't particularly suited to our system. Just don't think he's anywhere near the right level. Cedric would be my pick of the Southampton squad, hasn't had the best season but no one in that team has.

{Ed001's Note - surely Hojbjerg is the pick of the bunch there?}

In terms of ability sure, I was thinking more in terms of which player I'd personally bring in. Think a decent right back would have more of an impact then another midfielder (though maybe not with the current injury list) .

I have barely watched the Saints play recently (their dire football doesn't exactly appeal to me when I could be watching replays of Liverpool instead) but how has Hojbjerg gotten on at Southampton, ed? Also, why did Bayern let him go? I know he didn't get much gametime there but they usually make space for the youngsters they want to keep like Kimmich.

Have a distinct feeling JC23 might only have seen him in those semi final games against us last season, which were by far the games of his life.

Ed001 I don't think any of their players are good enough for the reds at the moment but at a push it has to be Lemina surely!

{Ed001's Note - he has potential, but I would take Hojbjerg from what I saw of the pair in the last few games. Much more suited to the way we play than Lemina, who could be a bit lazy at times.}
