Ed’s, just read that Liverpool have been allocated just of 16,626 tickets for the finals, of which a high percentage is classified as restricted viewing.

And the stadium is reduced to 63,000 people capacity.

Is that a paltry number to give to each participating club? Send to be to me.

I wonder why they can’t give the finals to bigger stadiums to accommodate the fans.

Or as usual is the attending fans of least concern?

The tickets always end up going to the real fans, not before someone gets a nice healthy profit for selling the ticket on though.

What an earth is restricted viewing? Like you can only see half the pitch?

Restricted viewing is when you buy a ticket and then one of the stadium stewards stands directly in front of you, obscuring your view of the entire match. If you try to look around him he shifts his position to block your vision, he is contantly looking to block your view of the match. Oh, and these stewards have to be at least 7 foot, otherwise they risk the chance of the steward being shorter than the guy who bought the restricted ticket.

Seems like a real dick move in my opinion, but some people will pay for such an experience

:P.

Gotta wonder why, if Mango's assertion is correct (and I have no reason whatsoever to doubt it), Restricted View tickets are cheaper?! Surely the cost of the 'BSM' (Blocking Steward Manpower) is enough to pump those prices up?! Plus you get your personal steward who will no doubt get you drinks during the game and generally look after you!

Is that not how it works?
