Ron - how would he jeopardise our season now by leaving completely rather than being retained on gardening leave? Or for that matter wreck our 'transfer targets' - I doubt anyone is going to hire him just for the purpose of finding out who Liverpool are interested in (especially when they can just look here! ) .

In the pubs at Liverpool, it seem disagreement is over Henderson. Buvac feel we will be a much quicker counter attacking team without Henderson while Klopp agree with Buvac, klopp prefer Henderson in team so as not to ruffle feathers.

If he’s still an employee then he can’t legally give them any intelligence.
Similarly with transfer targets, he could easily give out a list of targets to anyone who wants to know, if he left.

I’m not saying my theory is fact, but why leave when we have 3 or 4 games left? Why make the announcement?

There’s more to it than “personal reasons” IMO.

Ron - unless Real or Barcelona hired him, why would he give out information on us? Or hand out a transfer target list to random clubs? What's in it for him? Not to mention, is it really worth it for a club like Real to try and hire a coach they don't really need to get insider information on an astoundingly open club with massively limited resources for one game? What exactly are they going to learn that they can use in a match? If it was a case of liking what we were doing in some areas and wanting to replicate it long term then sure I get that, but I think having concerns that a coach or even a manager can give particularly helpful information to an opposition team in the last month of a season is a bit far fetched. Not to mention depending on what the personal reasons are, why wouldn't they cause him to leave at this point in the season? Family issues, physical and mental health etc don't wait for convenient points in life - they hit when they hit.

If he’s a free agent they can just offer him £1m for information. If he’s our employee - they can’t.

That’s my reading of it, the same happens when managers get sacked, they are put on gardening leave or severance depends on them not taking another job for a certain amount of time.
