Mane is just a joy off the pitch based on the interviews he gives. Same with Salah, Bobbie, Ox, TAA, Hendo the lot of them. It's so cool to know that not only are our boys (and manager) are boss on the pitch. They are even better men off it. Class individuals, really.

{Ed0333's Note - I’d prefer them to be cherubs off the pitch and perennial winners with a bit of bite and nasty on the pitch. I want a few more souness, Jimmy Case et al type personalities so we can terrify the opposition in the tunnel even before they gets the pitch.

Ed personally I think those days are gone.

I don’t think the game these days allows for those types of players

Our boys are good lads and I like that. The risk is that you go too far and become like Arsenal now where everyone is nice and has an easy ride with no motivation. Or the other way like Man Utd where you’ve got a team full of egos and big time Charlies who equally can’t be motivated to play well together an a unit.

I think I’ve said it on here before, I was at a meet and greet at Melwood back in January and Mane was definitely the nicest bloke out of all the players. It was just after we’d complimented him on the goal he’d scored at the weekend and he was really appreciative of the positive comments. He even gave me a little cuddle! 😀.
