One of the biggest surprises for me the second half of the season is how little we've missed Couts. Also Ox would get in our team before him on current form also for balance of the team.

I love how Firmino's game improved since Coutinho leaving. I have always loved Firmino but he's much better without Coutinho on the pitch.

Guess it’s for the best to leave the buying and selling to those in the know then.
By the way people reacted on here, and other sites, Coutinho and AOC were the difference between champions elect and relegation.

Coutinho is a better footballer than Ox, but what Ox has is a willingness to work hard, physical strength and pace.

Our game plan works so much better with three midfielders willing to run up and down the pitch. Coutinho didn’t do the defending. We already have 3 world class strikers. Having an extra midfielder willing to defend makes a massive difference.

I think we were far more predictable with Coutinho in the side. Ox plays throughout the entire width of the field, whereas Coutinho was always on the left cutting in to the center. With Mane, Firmino and Salah we also see far more interchanging of positions, so it causes more confusion for the opposing defenders (I don't remember seeing Coutinho on the right, more than maybe a couple of times) . And Ox is clearly more efective defending and pressing. I'm not saying Ox is better skilled than Coutinho (far from it) but within the context of this team, Ox adds more solidity and balance to the midfield.

Let's not hold a grudge Gents. Coutinho wasn't all that bad he used to provide double figures in assists and goals which has yet to be replaced by our current midfield. He's moved on I think it's time we did as well.
