Credit to Dejan too. He has been a rock since Vvd arrived, only exception United game where our tactics were wrong in so many ways. seems that our defence looks good, would like one good cb for rotation and Matip and Klavan sold. we would have TAA, Gomez, Clyne, Lovren, VvD, Robbo, Moreno and new CB. good enough in my eyes!

that's right mandzo dejan, karius, taa and robbo have all played there part the op must think vvd plays by himself in defense. the squad has been amazing the togetherness, unselfishness you can see it everybody I pulling in same direction onwards and upwards. we going to kiev to win it for 6 time YNWA.

Personally I give most credit to Karius for the defensive change, VVD being reliable in the air has helped massively but the settling effect of a trusted goalkeeper (or at least, one that's not active distrusted) has been huge for us I think.

Hendos brother care to point out where I have said VVD does it all on his own 🤔. I saw the stat and copied and pasted it to share with the rest of the fans on here. I notice that no one is allowed to comment without you having a snide comment or dig. Clearly we're not allowed to point out any 1 particular player on their own. Anyway I get what the OP was saying. It’s fair to say the rest of the defence wasn’t performing well before VVD joined. Now we look a lot better defensively and the stats support that.

VVD has arguably been the difference. I would say he had improved the other players. He hasn’t done it all by himself, nobody is saying that.

No snide comment jay stop thinking the world is against u all the time lad, you notice do you? hmmmmmm don't let the voices in your head beat you up. was only pointing out although those stats say vvd is playing well so is the rest of our team, we are not a one player team.
Navy you are right since vvd has arrived the whole defence has been better although a don't think vvd has been our best defender he must have something to bring the best out of others. Let's hope it continues as I really believe it's our year in Europe and next year premier league onwards and upwards YNWA.
