I suspect Madrid will get Roma and we will get Bayern. but they are all quality teams in the semis so who cares who we get, bring it on!

Do you even want roma.

You want nothing in our heads about an 'easier game.

You want the impossible so our players, fans and entire club rise to the occasion.

I don’t think anyone will take Roma lightly, not after what they did last night. Maybe Barcelona took the 2nd leg lightly and paid the price. It just shows the value of us keeping that clean sheet st home against City. If they had got a late goal at Anfield to make it 3 - 1 and then scored that goal in 2 minutes at. the Etihad, I feel that we would have gone out last night.

One good thing, if we do draw Roma, at least Salah will be playing for us and not them. I won’t even mind if he doesn’t celebrate when he scores.

Finally, big plaudits to the defensive play last night. Last season we’d have gone out after conceding that early goal. We have improved a lot of our weaknesses since last season. The goalkeeper (although the jury is still out), defending set pieces, looking dangerous at our own set pieces, not collapsing when we score a goal and even being more clinical with chances.

No easy games at this end of the tournament and all of the teams that are through have fought and deserved our place on merit. We tend to do better against teams that attack and come forward, so there is no reason in any one off game that we cannot beat any of the remaining teams. To be still in with the chance of winning the biggest prize in club football is brilliant.

Salah, Firmino and Mane are three of the most exciting and dangerous players in Europe and I cannot think that any defender will to be up against their pace and work rate. I would say that City were a better side than Roma or Bayern and we saw them off, Madrid have their weak points and I do not think they would want us playing Klopp style football in full flow as he has beaten them before and knows how to win these games.

Im hoping for Bayern. Klopp knows them and their style well. They are not the team of a couple of years ago and their aging legs might find it tough over 180 minutes vs Liverpool. Perhaps more crucially, they are less likely (Robben aside) to dive and try to get our players carded which the likes of RM are old hands at.

Really impressed with the way the defence are holding their line lately. Really pissed Sane off in both legs with the amount of times he way caught off side, as well as the displays of TAA of course.

No of course there are no easy games but you don't want relief that we say get roma and avoid Bayer and Madrid.

Just at all. We do it all the time. We have say Swansea coming up after smashing city, oh we should win this and boom we get tonked.

Plus we do not want a defending team against us. Which roma are.
