The abuse Hendo gets from England fans is pretty awful. He does exactly what he needs to, is a pivot between attack and defence and that sometimes involves sideways passing, which he's criticised for. That keeps possession, but they then also slate Dele Alli for giving it away too much! Can't have it both ways!

To be honest, who should really care. The win rate is higher with him playing for us and England. He is captain for a reason, more than most people realise and they just don’t understand his position or what he does for a team.

Fantastic player, switching play wears down the opposition and creates space in between the defence. Its pretty simple really. Hendo also plays some lovely forward balls do it's just ridiculous, this criticism.
