I'm all for motivating players and propping up their confidence after long injuries. But Klopp calling Lallana "one of England's top 3-4 players" is a little bit over the top, I think. And doesn't speak too highly of the England team standards, either.

{Ed001's Note - he was England's best player, as voted for by the fans. Hardly over the top, he plays much better for England.}

He is an Everton supporter! Haha.

Surprising then Ed001. I would have thought that players like Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Marcus Rashford, Jamie Vardy, Raheem Sterling, Jordan Henderson, John Stones would receive higher appreciation from the fans. Anyway, it is what it is. I wish he would play better for LFC if what you say is true (I have only seen highlights for England games in recent years) .

{Ed001's Note - he is outstanding usually for England to be fair to him.}

I wonder where he rates Ox and Hendo.

Klopp has merely done a Brendan when he talked up Sterling

When Lallana goes in the summer we will now get a great fee for him.

Ed001 Does he play much better, or does he just look better in a poorer squad/ team? I really like lallana but can't see him staying past the summer.

{Ed001's Note - bit of both.}

Jayden23 - I rate both Ox and Henderson above Lallana based on current form. Lallana's form last year was outstanding, but nothing close to it this year. Have no idea how he's done for England this year or how much he played. Nostradmus2.0 - Yes, haha, you real funny (spell your name right and then let's get to talking) .

Ra cheers for the reply mate. But I actually meant where does Klopp rate Hendo and Ox as he's rated Lallana top 4. I agree though with what you're saying this season has been a no go for Lallana and in all fairness Hendo hasn't exactly faired much better. If we're talking just this season then Ox has had the better one. If we're talking all players fit and on form then for me it's Lallana first then Hendo then Ox.

Jayden23. Ooops, sorry about that. I thought you were referring to me. But I will disagree with you on one point. Even when fully fit I rate Henderson above Lallana. Hendo is the glue that keeps that midfield together. And we saw it clearly against ManU because that's what we were missing the most. People have been ranting about those 2 errors, but we had more possession, more attempts at goal. What was missing was the launchpad of passes and creative play that Hendo provides and which improves the quality of those attempts at goal. Lallana may be capable of the same creativity but there's been little sign of it in recent times. I really hope Klopp adjusts his rotation to enable Hendo to play both games against ManC in the UCL.

No worries Ra all entitled to our opinions. In fairness the team are in the quarter finals of the CL and have torn teams apart this season and are pushing for second without that glue. I appreciate Hendo but I don't think he is as important as some people make out.

I think Klopp is just hoping that Lallana will get more game time with England, and then a better price should he leave, there is more room in midfield at international level, so Lallana just might play better then .

I agree with klopp.

I am constantly miffed by lfc fans who seem to have forgotten how good lallana was so last season. He was our best English player along with Hendo. Lallana, fully fit, is a fantastic player. Better than deli Ali easily.

Well said SS, mentioned above Lallana is not in form/ AOC’s form is better. Pretty hard to be in form when he’s been injured for 6 months. Muppets.
