With it looking like there will be no more signings coming it can be seen as a double edged sword. One on side you have the valid argument that the club want to bid for and recruit players they want, if those players are not available until the summer then wait till then. Otherwise you end up with players just for the sake of signing them.

On the other hand if you do not recruit and have a bad second half to the season, and do not make top four and go out of the CL earlier than we should all we will hear is its all Klopp and FSGs fault it's down to them as we did not buy reinforcements after selling out best playmaker. Again could be seen as a valid point. It's a difficul one.

Only end of season will tell if buying or not in jan was a good or bad move .

Did we recruit last January to make top four last season?

Our squad is much stronger since the signings of last summer.

We signed VVD in this window too.

Patience. We do not want another Brendan aka kid in a candy shop end up with a squad that makes no sense.
