If spurs lose tonight and then again against us on the weekend, the gap to top 4 will be 8 points.

Should they throw in the towel? According to many on here we might as well fold no?

I’m not getting carried away in the slightest. I don’t get too excited when we win and I don’t get too defeatist when we lose. I hate it when we lose but I don’t then decide our season is over. I’m merely pointing out that people shouldn’t be so keen to write us off.

Guess it depends if you think that losing in the manner that we did in the two previous games was acceptable and that suddenly that one win puts right all of the deficiencies that are present in the squad, because it doesn’t. Spurs is much more of a test and will not be anywhere near as easy. We are still on course for another trophyless season and there is still a good chance that we could finish outside top four, given that our weaknesses are easy to exploit.

87red I have the emoji on speed button mate. I totally agree with what your saying but who cares if people are doom and gloom or if they get carried away after a win. It's their own personal opinion. People seem to take it so personal if someone doesn't share their view. Football debate is what is great about the sport.

Mr Dennis, your definitely a glass half empty type of guy. You cannot win every game or play well every game. We were poor against Swansea yet still had 4 unreal chances to score. They had 2 shots. West Brom was really poor but a lot was down to Moreno who should not be anywhere near the team.

You constantly moan about our midfielders. I agree to a point as there are no world class players there but Henderson for one is a quality player and one who when in the side makes us a better team. We have made huge progress over the past 2 years and will continue to strengthen in the summer. We are level on points with Chelsea and have Arsenal and City out of the way for the rest of the season, spurs too after Sunday.

Support your team and stop being so negative day in day out .
