Ok, here's the United perspective from me. I may be wrong but hey, it's my view.

We looked completely knackered today, you were the better team and if it was a boxing match theen you were clear winners. However, looking at other results it has been a strange old day all round so maybe the international break had something to do with it.

As for today, I thought we did ok in the first half. We took the sting out of the game and pressed high, this wasn't parking the bus. However, in the second half we were pretty shocking, the worst I have seen us play all year. We had no legs in central midfield and nobody on the bench to come help. But a point at Anfield is ultimately ok, particularly when Arsenal and Chelsea both lost.

Your issue isn't today's game, it is the one we had last year, playing well against "lesser" teams but not putting them away. If you don't fix that then the season will be a struggle.

City are on a different planet right now and it will take something special to stop them. But I don't see anybody else to fear. I think City will win it with United second, probably Spurs third and fourth is a cat fight.

Well played today, you deserv d more than a point but hey, that's how it goes.

Jose bottled it pal! He knows we are weak at the back but he still bottled it de gea was the difference other then that it was 93 mins of Liverpool! I've gained some confidence today! As for Utd they're 1st real test and u where muck I expected goals and a game today I got neither!

Couldn't agree more with your post mate, and I do believe the biggest problem today with results was down to the internationals, everybody's lethargic, they need to get back into the swing of things again.

I enjoyed the game, usually I wouldn't say that with there been no goals, gutted we didn't finish off the chances we had though, I can't quiet grasp why we're not finishing as we should but I do think the tables will turn and we'll start to do so. Question is, when? This concerns me a little.

I know Man City have had some fantastic results and all, but personally I just can't see them keeping it up, maybe I'm wrong and they'll fly to the title but to me, I don't think they will, I think many teams this season will be close to getting that title, You fellas, Chelsea, City, Spurs, who knows dare I say, if we start scoring maybe even us ;)

The season is still very early, thing's change, teams get in good form, then maybe have a bad period, this is football. Look at Everton, I wouldn't expect how they've started and I'd of thought they will pick things up again, surely? not that I'm moaning, they can keep down there for me (sorry ed25 :) ) But they won't.

For the record though, overall I am happy with the point because in the back of my mind although I was predicting a draw all week, I was scared stiff you'd go and beat us so a draw does me just fine. A win was deserved in my opinion but nevermind, we'll save that for when we come to OT ;)

United won't be 2nd that will be spurs united will drop out of the top four again, they stated great last season, fell out, they're no stronger than last season bar the addition of matic and a better PR team.

Mou seems to be uninterested in playing against us and Klopp at Anfield. I simply do not know why. They were the form team and were HEAVY fav's to win today and they come out there and simply just refuse to play, almost. Well, if that is what he wants to do then so be it. He should simply not be surprised when people think he's scared of Klopp or accuse him of playing stoneage footie after spending near 300m since last season on players.

Bigored it's not only against us or klopp, I'm just shocked to see you know very little about mou especially with your knowledge of footy.

This is how mou plays against top teams, He has been playing like this since he started his managerial career and has served him really well bringing him lots of trophies and success.

What 'banter' was there? United started very well last season, where did they finish? Spurs have a better team, have been tested while united stumbled over their first challenge, no 'banter' what so ever just a informative opinion but don't worry lads I'll tell you United will win the treble if it makes you feel better, won't happen like but tell stop you's moaning.

JBLP, Utd will finish top4 comfortably. If u look at that logic, we too stumbled mid way through the season while Jose won 2 trophies. Whatever the discussion, majority will agree that Utd have a better and more balanced team than we do and will comfortably finish above us.

Kopite7, I do not disagree with that. He is free to play how he wants to play just as I am free to critique it and make fun of it. That is all I'm saying.

Harry, YES Mou is scared of Klopp cos Klopp owns him and has embarrassed him in the CL with BVB and Klopp smashed him at Chelsea and helped get him sacked. Klopp also owns him in the head to head battles and is yet to beat Klopp in the PL. Maybe cos he is actually scared of him so he parks two buses or relies on the ref to bail him out (like he did last season at OT when the assistant blatantly ignored an offside on Valencia that led to the equalizer) Fact! That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

Quite honesty nobody bae Manchester City will make the top 4 'comfortably' some good teams are dropping points left right and centre, of the top6 last year united had the easiest start to the season, they have done well so far but their first challenge and they didn't exactly rise to the challenge, they didn't even challenge, kind of just waited for it to be over. Not saying wel make top 4 by any means but the top 6 apart from city winning it, will be close. United were lucky yesterday, the referee was scared to whip the yellow cards out and refused a penalty. Liverpool lack bite but united performance was toothless, Alex ferguson wouldn't ever have approached such a big game in such a feable manner.
