It's being reported we've agreed a £148 million deal with Barcelona for coutinho after secret talks. Aparantly it hinges if we can get renata sanches from bayern.

I really don't rate sanchez. He looked poor against us and I see another markovic. Maybe I'm wrong but I'd rather we signed a proven player. We have 2 sign can up. pivotal.

I think many were underwhelmed when Wijnaldum and Salah were signed and many thought Mané was overpriced. I know there have been a couple of dodgy buys, but even the best managers get it wrong. So whether it's Ox, Sanches or whoever let's give them a chance and get behind them.

Sanches is a CM/ CDM not a CAM. Saw him play at Bayern a few times and im not convinced. There was defenetly a bigger hype about him than he deserved. If you look at the Statement of Ancelotti: If he stays im happy but if he goes im allright with that aswell. So it doesn't seem like he will be missed.

I have read €140mil + €20mil as bonuses for couts with the Deadline for the deal set for today. So i guess we should get news of him staying or leaving sometime today.

I hope it happens as no point keeping a player who doesn't want to play for the club. We've already shown we can play and win without couts injuries aside. I think he'll be gone and hopefully get two or three players in before the window closes.

Oxlade Chamberlain failed his audition good and proper. And that was in one of his apparently playing in one of his more effective positions. hopefully that puts an end to our interest as he's just a very ordinary footballer with a ridiculous price tag.

Well I seem to remember a certain
Mr Matt's Hummel's not being good enough for B. M, klopp seen something in the lad and a few years later B. M wanted him back. I sure of 1 think here, klopp if interested is not looking at him cause he had a big hyped name a while back, it's cause he sees him as a player that will fit well with the squad and can work on his game together. I will back him now and will do the same if he arrives.

I would be happy with Ox if im honest, granted i havnt looked at how much the figure being thrown around is so can't say if there is better out there

But in his position he is decent and at the very least he has prem experience and gives options for squad rotation whilst filling the home grown quota too not that its an issue rn.

The thing is AOC wants out because of playing time and position. Maybe has lost faith in Wenger aswell.

He won't ever be more than a rotational player at Liverpool. Would he accept that? Fine could do a job. Would he cost like a bit part player does? Eh, no. 35 mil quoted. Or 40 mil + one quid.

Walk on I say. Will be the same story for him next year, 18 months tops.

We have 2 first team quality out and out wingers though, sure we have some younger players, strikers and a couple of midfielders that could do a job there but i think AOC would definitely get game time there - even if its just in the cups

As for the money 35m seems relatively normal when you compare it to the money we got for Sterling and the money just spent on a certain english right back

Carroll was 35m 6 years ago as well so 35m seems reasonable to me.
