If Coutinho was to play again, or we brought in Keita, who would they even start over?

Gini made their players sit down nearly every time he got the ball.
Can, well words aren't even needed for his performance.
And Hendo is looking so much better now he seems to have more freedom to get up the pitch on occasion.

Any of the front 3 would definitely not be the ones to be replaced they are an absolute dream to watch as well!

What a performance by the whole team though, Karius didn’t have to make a single save 😂 although he needs to work on his awareness on the ball, that was horrifying 😰.

Agree I thought he was our worst outfield player today. Poor passing an couldn't hit a barn door from 10 yards today. Can't fault the bloke for his energy though.

OP is spot on. You simply cannot drop any of the players based on that performance. We were magnificent and the football was a joy to watch. Players will have dips in form over a long tough season, and if we are serious about challenging in all competitions it would be great to have ferocious competition across all positions.

You can actually see now Clyne, TAA are going to have to up their gam e again because Gomez staked a claim today. Robertson is bringing the best out of Moreno.

If Coutinho stays I can't see him walking back into a starting Spot.

I believe 2/ 3 more signings in the obvious positions and we are really well equipped for this year.

Big al, your satisfied with him? Ahahah he can press I'll give you that, but what else? Always passing sideways occasionally looks for the killer pass but never. ever delivers! Average at best! I'm not saying he's bad, but could certainly improve.

I agree, I actually thought Hendo was weak and gave the ball away far to easily today. He would be the player I would drop for keita.

Henderson though gives everything isn't up to the standard required.

{Ed001's Note - after yesterday's performance I knew some divvy would still slag him off, even though he was key to the win with his pressing. Henderson was excellent yesterday, clearly you know about as much about football as Xhaka!}

True performances would dip throughout the season or we could get injuries. it’s going yo be insane having such quality dept for once! Just hoping players don't become unhappy like Can about wanting to start every game.

And spot on ed1 I agree with you, Hendo did make a few sloppy mistakes but he more than made up for them with his pressing, energy and willingness to win the ball and set the team on the front foot.
People who don't see Hendo's qualities are the same people who want us to buy a striker because they don’t see what Firmino brings to the side in that position.
