Incredibly disappointed that Klopp has decided to drop Karius. The club's motto is 'You'll Never Walk Alone' and it has been absolutely embarrassing with the way the fans have slagged Karius off till the point that Klopp needed to take him out of the lineup. I don't feel Mignolet is good enough, but hopefully he plays a blinder tonight on his return to the first XI.

{Ed025's Note - karius is walking alone now zpecialone...probably to accrington or somewhere which befits his ability.. :)

Grow up. Players get dropped if they under-perform, simple as that. There weren't too many sobs when Moreno was dropped. It has nothing to do with the club motto.

Klopp took him out of the limelight, he can now play the cup games and get his confidence back up. And honestly klopp will chose who he feels will guarantee him a win. He doesn't base his selection so that he can get one over the so called pundits. We have two keepers good enough for the first team. Something we haven't had before.

{Ed025's Note - thats a very positive spin on things SS, some might say there is not a good keeper between them..but yours is better..

More taken out of the firing line than dropped I fancy. The story was becoming too much about him.

{Ed025's Note - no andy he was dropped mate..

Fantastic decision by Klopp to take the pressure off the lad, whilst having a Mignolet hungry to prove himself again. Mignolet did well. I wonder what the LFC staff make of Karius in training. Is he up to the task or did they make a mistake in buying him?

There is an old saying in football that you are only as good as your last game. If that is the case, then Karius had to be dropped.

I trust the manager.
Great win tonight, let's not make it about Karius again.
Let the story die down then Karius will be back.
By all accounts Migs deserved his start so let's see what he can do.

He was dropped because we have a better keeper on the bench. Migs has his weaknesses but he makes big saves. he has done it in the past including pens. At the moment I could not see Karius making anything other than the basic save. and he has even struggled at that. He can't complain, Migs deserves to be in front of him right now.

Migs is in no way a better GK than Karius. We have had three years of failure from him to make that conclusion. Except 10 games is the new standard for judging new players these days, the jury is still out on Karius. Don`t care really who plays, as long as we win.

Ed025, i see where you coming from, and given past games one might doubt migs, but his shot stopping is there with the best and karius was only second to neuer in the bundesliga last season. I remeber de gea struggling a lot in is first season. Loris did to and courtois wasnt so great last season when he played. Anyway we have young keepers doing well on loans too. I beleive this keeper situation is being blown out of proportions and it certainly doesn't help the team. For now migs is good enough until a younger keeper can displace him, so if he wants to keep his place he knows he will have to fight for it. And he has the calibre to do so. I have supported pool since I was for last 15 years or so and I have never seen so many supporters have a go at all our keepers and asking for a new one after every match. I remember people sticking up for reina, when he was being awful. So it kinda frustrates me when we are having a great season and our fans just won't stop being negative. It certainly doesn't help the team.

{Ed001's Note - Mignolet's shot stopping is down there with the worst! He has never been a good shot stopper!}

A good shot stopper should NEVER lead the PL in goals conceded on the first shot on target, something Migs managed to achieve. Him being a great shot stopper is a myth that has no basis in fact nor reality.
